Really embarrassing names

We were discussing odd names at work. I have worked with a Trevor Hardon (nasty South African bigot to boot), had a school teacher called Mrs Wigglesworth (fit as fuck) and at Nestle had a contact in Croydon called Wayne Wanklyn (he was once on Chris Evans TFI). In my current job we have an accountant in Liverpool HQ, from Nigeria, called Jean Cacque.

Any more embarrassing names out there?

I remember a lady called Wanklyn on University Challenge years ago.

When she got the starter question right the announcer said something like:

Cambridge, Wanklyn.

Wanker is a common surname in some countries. I spoke to a Mr Wanker from Germany a few years ago.

QPR have a player called Shittu.

Heard this once, not sure if this is true.

The German company Siemens had offices in Staines.

When the operator answered the phone they had to say Siemens, Staines

Two embarrasing ones from me...

I was at school with a guy called Rob Hunt, and his brothers name was Michael.

I was sent a letter from a bank and the regional managers name was Richard Head.

You would think they would change them wouldn't you? :)

There are quite a lot of Shittus in London, I think it's a Nigerian name. And there are more than a few Twatts in Scotland.

There was a submarine commander in the war called Wanklyn who won the VC if I recall rightly.
