Simple maths.
DON'T READ BELOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW IT'S DONE
You will always end up with a multiple of nine, so no matter what number you end up with all the multiples of nine have the same symbol. To stop you from cottoning on they change the symbol each time you play.
