Not my cup of tea, but I will say this for them. They made it on the strength of the music. I don't recall there being a big marketing push from the record company, and although there was a relatively big spend on videos (eg Garden Party) I don't think this was integral to their success. Other people may have a more informed view on that, but I say 'fair play' to them, even if they don't do much for me musically.

Yeah, Misplaced Childhood was a very good album and worth hunting for. Kayleigh is superb though. Seems to have spawned a load of 18 ish year olds named after it.

Hey Warren!!
Thanx!! Have seen Fish interviewed a few times and all ways thought that he seemed like a real nice bloke,ya know the kind that would chat in a lift. Glad to know he really is. Just need confirmation now that Alice Cooper and meat loaf are as nice as they seem and i can forget some of the prats rock misic has given us!!

Excellent wiki. page:
Their successful internet campaign had many a music exec. interested in how a band can operate these days, apparently.
