Although I've had it for years ( originally in viynle, vinal, vyinle....oh bugger! ) I'm currently unable to stop playing Split Enz's 'Second Thoughts' CD. Its just sooooo good. Must have played it over 500 times over the years and still cant get enough. Anyone else like 'em ?

Phil Judd was the genius of that band.

Never bought an album by them, but Six Months In A Leaky Boat has been buzzing around my head for years.

'I Got You' was one of THE classic '80s songs. It'll be on my party playlist when I celebrate the big 4-oh no late next year! !thumbsup!

they changed their name to crowded house xcellent band only lp i had was called dizryhmia.

Actually, Crowded House was the spin-off band formed by some ex Enz members, but Dizrythmia was definately back in the Split Enz days.

Second Thoughts is one of those ' takes a few listens ' albums.

As for the band...not really heard of them until I googled. Their sound reminds me of Human League for some reason. Forgive my ignorance if I'm totally off the mark!

Yes, Split Enz are one of those things I have to watch myself that I dont go boring the pants off people about how good they are. We dont all hear things the same way I know. How do I know this ? Well I have actually gone round to everyone's house while they're asleep, removed their ears and listened to Split Enz through their ears just to check. Bloody frightening eh ?
