Simple rule of thumb

As usual, some serious threads have descended into name calling, abuse and nitpicking. Even when someone tried to inject a little humour on to the forum, they get jumped on from a great height. So how about:
Ignoring posts from those you have a problem with.
Addressing the subject of a post rather than inserting your own political agenda.
Trying not to blame immigrants/homosexuals/Blair/USA/Warren Z for everything that happens in the world.
And at this time of year in particular, whether we subscribe to that religion or not, show a little bit of Christian (ie of Christ, not the ones who distort what he said) tolerance and understanding.
This site, and this forum, is open to everyone who registers. Not just the ones who were here at the start. People come and go. Opinions are always divided on emotive subjects. Get over it.
