What a bag of shite. Catherine Tate's only redeeming feature was a fine set of cans but otherwise a very poor episode. And why is it Aliens only bother with London?

It`s actually the faggot RTD, he believes we won`t be sympathetic towards aliens being invaded etc. In short he`s got no imagination and can`t write for shit

Because London is the capital, the largest city and therefore the most important. Otherwise it would be....
"Oh crap, the aliens are threatening Peterborough, we'd better call the Doctor".
Joking aside, large parts of the Russell T Davis series have been filmed and set in Cardiff.
I thought sci-fi geeks were supposed to be good with details.

Since when was Cardiff on planet Earth?! I suppose the BBC having a large production centre in Cardiff means they can nip back to the canteen for a cup of coffee.......
Christmas episode's plot was very poor, disjointed and far too PC. Russell Davies should realsie sci-fi isn't PC. Take Uhura's skirts, Wilma Darling's unifrom and prasie be Seven of Nine's bodysuit.

My usual criticism of the New Who stands - dramatic (clich?d music) and dramatic script while nothing of substance actually happens. And when it does eventually happen you're left feeling totally unsatisfied.
Probably like sex with me.
