Just downloaded it, and damn, if it isn't a great film.

Anyone know when it's due to come out over here?

I think its scheduled for February/ March in the new year. Remains to be seen if Rambo 4 is any good. I hope he doesnt make it all preachy like he did the last two films.

I hope futyher more he doesnt use the 9/11 muslim tensions as a base for US patriotism and bawl out about america being great and fightiong against evil....Oh god, it probably is.

Personally I reckon it might even bomb. Rambo is not as enduring as James Bond or Superman...But I could be wrong.

His last decent movie was Cliff Hanger. i really liked that one.

Cliffhanger was indeed a great film, but I think Copland was Stallones last great film considering he made some real dog shit films of late

The new Rocky wasn't bad, usual predictable fair, but more than watchable, I bet Stallone is seriously pissed that A+ Screener DVD's are up on the net months before the UK release!

But yes of course Ace, you are so right. Copland was a great film too.

If you check Wikipedia, you can read the full plot- a real spoiler alert!

I think this will happen more and more with films and books released at different times in different territories.

It's out January 19th in the Uk. Being a big Rocky fan, I too downloaded it last week(though I will see it at the cinema as well) and I feel the same. It was actually quite good. Very much of an original Rocky feel. The fight scenes are the most realistic yet(except for maybe the last round) and it's like watching a boxing match on Sky. Small criticisms the training and fight scenes weren't that long and it seems some of it was poorly edited like Duke turning up out of nowhere.
But if you like Rocky you have to see this movie, it's a decent end to the series, and when Rocky gets rid of the 'beast' in the final round and the chimes start and the crowd chants , it's brilliant.

Not a bad film at all. Rocky seems like he cant let go of the past, and in many scenes throughout the film it is quite moving. Overall this is a good film, and id give it 7/10. Well done Sly.
