Went to get a much touted Extras (Ricky Gervais) DVD at ?4.00. Sold out, BUT had a stash of them at ?12.99. I asked if there were any of these at the ?4.00 advertised rate, and was told 'Sorry Luv, we sold out of them'
All the REALLY good stuff had long gone, but plenty of the same at 'proper prices'
The advert says in small print 'Subject to Availability'

Got quite a few albums around the ?6-8 mark just before Christmas from HMV. I'm talking Ray Lamontagne, Kasabian, The Kooks, Fratellis, U2, Snow Patrol, & Muse. All should have been ?9.99 or ?12.

You should have braved the sales mate! They start damn early these days.

Most of the stuff that the likes of HMV and Virgin have in their sales is stuff that shouldn't be any more than ?5 - ?6 in the first place. But they make it sound as though they are doing you a favour by banging it into their 'HUGE SALE'.

Not great, but I wouldn't call it a rip off compared to other forms of entertainment.

yeah Ace dont be tight. Yeah they ran out but you like Extras so that?12.99 you spend on it aint bad in comparison. It cost way loads than this to make so you got a good deal anyway....Yeah yeah I know, thats not the point.
