A club I grew up with, watch them thrash Chelsea on Saturday, I,m predicting a 4-1 scoreline, a bent ref, and 2/1 Incy chins someone before half time (probably one of his own players) but seriously what a fantastic day out for everyone, I,m sorry I cant be there for that one, great to see the smaller teams play the big guns in that competition..true football

Good luck also to my home town club, taking on Norwich live on BBC1 this Saturday. Tamworth can't buy a win in the Conference, but seem to like the cup.

I'll be honest, I fancy Maccelsfield to get something tomorrow. Not a good hiding like some pundits predict, but for me, a replay at the very least.
I expect them to hit the Blues hard and not let them settle on the ball for a moment.
Unless of course, the players freeze on the day, in which case, a resounding 4-0 scorline is expected.
I like a punt on the coupons, but I'm steering clear of this one

Sadly Ace, they wont go any further in this comp, and your prediction of a 4-0 drubbing is conservative, it,s just great that this competition throws up these brilliant games where the average joe in the lower leagues get to travel and see the big guns play, a fantastic day out.... mind you look what happened to United and Southend.

I LOVE the romance of the FA Cup and have seen some great games over the years, but I hate when the minnows rip off their own fans when a 'glamour club' play.
Their OWN supporters who are the financial reason they survive.
Last year, Nuneaton (where I now live) hosted Middlesborough in the FA Cup (and got a deserved replay) and the usual ticket price at the ground is ?7.50. On the day, the price was hiked to ?25.00. The supporters who are regulars didn't even get a discount for their loyal support. I thought it stank.

You don't think you were a bit hasty sacking Horton, do you?

Seriously, I hope Macc do well. I pass the Moss Rose quite often and I used to watch them quite a bit when they were in the conference. Haven't been since that play off game against Lincoln the other year.

All the best, at least the league form has turned around.

4-1 as I type, have to admit I still couldn't call a winner right till the kick off

Didn't help when Macclesfield's goalie got sent off.

Yeah, very harsh. Sometimes you have to bend the rules when its gonna be their ONLY chance at a crack on the big stage........unless its a blatent kick to 'make a name' for himself.
