Don't ya' just hate 'em? They're quite brazen and shameless about using their wealth and privilege to make sure their own kids get a decent education, but they would deny the same right to the hoi polloi, instead condemning us to a shitty, 'one size fits all', 'bog standard education', replete with mindless bullying and classroom disruption. Are they a set of twats, or what? Should we be suggesting to them that they fuck off?

My first though when I heard about this this morning was how much of a mockery it makes of Blair's 'Education, Education, Education'.
They keep telling us that schools are fine, they are good enough for our children, good enough to get a good education yet their very own spawn never go. Why? Are they not good enough after all?
An Education Secretary with no belief in the system should not be an Education Secretary. I recognise that she, does not have all the answers, but polititions will always be judged on actions.
However thinking about it a bit, as a mother she wants the best for her children and whilst her actions are hypocritical to her job, you can't really blame her. Her child is dyslexic, something I am all too familiar with, so I actually think she is being a responsible parent.
What is at fault is not her actions or hypocracy, but Government Policy and failings.....again!!!
I never thought I'd stick up for the boy child, but there you go....

i've said before that most of the cabinet have been some form of marksist or commie, and all of a sudden their beliefs have changed just so people will vote for them.

The old saying that 'If you're not a socialist by the time you are 18 there is something wrong with your heart, But if you are still a socialist by the time you are 21 there is something wrong with your head' still holds true.
Treating education as a social engineering tool, not for the benefit of the pupils or to raise standards but driven by a daft ideology and intense jealousy that everyone is exactly the same, like tins of beans and no one should have a perceived advantage over anyone else.
Comprehensive education is an oxymoron, to strive for mediocrity and to obtain qualifications so devalued that you can now pass in maths GCSE with 17% is Labours true legacy.
What would have been the reaction if she was sending her son to a private school not because of a difficulty that requires extra tuition but because he was brighter than his peers and needed extra tuition to reach his full potential in life.
Show me a socialist,and i'll show you a hypocrite.

I work right in amongst a bunch of Leftie Socialists who regularly lecture me about the evils of capitalism. Without a doubt, I have never worked with a group of people more obsessed with making money via whatever means available - ethics no problem.
No group of people are less likely to help the needy or volenteer their services for a good cause. They seem to know every tax loophole and government benefit going and go to penny pinching extremes like pinching milk and batteries from work, in spite of having very generous salaries.
But when some rich cunt gets his picture in the paper through being successful in business, they're the first to sermonise about how money is the root of all evil etc and claim he must have got there through devious means. They're shameless.
