Perverting the course of Public Justice

Corruption in high places is now well known and believed now by the people of the UK. The body politic is a reflection of our own bodies and the state is for the common good. However some philosopher ?Power not only corrupts but corrupts totally.?
When I was charged with ?perverting the course of justice knowing that it been done? I thought that I had never heard of this law except in the course of when a member of a jury or a police officer had accepted a bribe. When the police raided the registered offices of my film-making company Vide Ltd they had one film title on the warrant the Vide Video Show. When I had gone before an Old Bailey trial along with actor Lindsay Honey, actor Ken Boulton and my videographer Sarah Bhaskaran we had been unanimously acquitted by a jury who often emerged from the jury room laughing
Now I was being charged with trying to pervert the course of justice on a film that had been acquitted of being obscene and liable to deprave or corrupt those who were likely to see it!
David my solicitor had told me not to keep any video films in the office. However I thought ?that this was a breach of my civil liberties and my freedom of expression so I had kept just one of each film in my office. I had a machine which was used to demagnetise films on which I had placed all the samples thus making them blank. I had been raided in 1981 by the OPS and I had committed this so called perverting of the course of justice. The raid anyway was entirely oneness in order to prosecute me the filmmaker as Videx Ltd was marketing the VHS video film openly and my name was on each copy as director of the Videx Video Show -as with all our other titles. Lots of evidence was heard in court from prosecuting witnesses in order to prove something openly admitted by myself.
In the editing room one day I said to Lyndsay Honey that ?we will put bent coppers and the end to make them laugh.? The offending sequence was a sequence featuring a naturist camps beauty competition. I was there filming the Game for a Laugh Team from the BBC, including Joanna Kennedy. My crew and I were naked! How the BBC film had sweated on that hot summer?s day.
I remarked. ?Why don?t you take all your clothes off? Joanna Kennedy started to scream as I approached her eyes mesmerised by my swinging penis and then she ran away into the car park under the pine trees.
I took a whole page ad in several of the video magazines and the Videx Video Show was a winning formula: the first adult entertainment show which featured many talented actors. Michael Kent (who had become Michelle after a sex change) of Z Cars starred with Lindsay Honey.
Ruth Kelly, member of Opus Dei knows whether she is guilty or not of ?perverting the course of public justice? by deleting computer files. I knew that I was not guilty but because I never intended to cover up the fact that I had made the Videx Video Show. In fact I was rather proud of it!
