You are under NO obligation to let the police in unless they have a warrant or have come to arrest you.

Check this out. In certain circumstances it looks like they can. Not sure if these circumstances apply to you but....................take a look anyway.

Plod thought a woman was in your house in danger..if you try and thwart them they would get heavy..what if it was you daughter etc that had phoned?..take a breath and move on..........

They had probable cause... Woman in danger, potential in your home, They arrive and you refuse entry, they can and likely would assume its your home.

If there wasnt a phone call or any other probable cause, I'd tell em to fuck off.

As for Anything else you have in your house, they can't do jack shit, I had cops come search my house for 1 thing, and i had other illegal things which they saw but 'ignored' my solicitor told me, they had no warrant to search for the other stuff, and to get a warrant they would need some typ eof proof other than that they saw it when executing another warrant, unless it was something SERIOUS then they could apply for it on their own information, but for what it was, naff all they could do.
