Can't believe they only ever made 6 episodes!!!

This was a real funny show that got killed for no apparent reason...at least it was resurrected in the movies.

It was cancelled because "ABC executives thought it required too much attention from the viewer".

After seeing the subject title i the first thought i had was to to type "in colour!"

Great stuff!! Had forgot just how good it was. So much better than the films. Still cant watch the mighty Leslie Nielsen in any of his straight rolls with out part of me waiting to hear a "Dont call me Shirley" kinda line. Sorta ruins the Forbidden planet for me.....but well worth the sacrafice!!

I didn't know that but find it interesting....Fox is the only network that doesn't assume its audience is half brain-dead... & of course it is owned by an Aussie.

Fox? The network that cancelled (The spectacular) Firefly because they thought the audience wouldn't get it? Luckily Universal saw the potential and made it into the movie Serenity.
