Here's what I've gota catch up on in the next few weeks. Without giving away plots, tell me what you think.
By the way, 'The Departed' was some fucking movie. For the critics, and movie fans, who panned it......... it was just too clever for you!!
Here we go:
-Talladega Nights;
-Pan's Labyrinth;
-Lucky Number Sleven;
-4 brothers;
-The Guardian;
-Music and Lyrics;
-Wolf Creek;
-Walk The Line;
-Apocalypto;
-United 93;
-Hostel.
To name but a few!!!!

2007 looks better than 2006.......... Spidey 3. *cum*
then in '08....... Sin City 2!!
Flash Gordon remake!!!
Oh, the joys.........
!happy!

Watched the 4 brothers in LA last year. I thought it was so-so. Not something I'd buy a dvd for and watch again. As for all the others, I've not seen them either!

I know it's not on your list, but I saw Hot Fuzz last night expecting it to be a "British Comedy of the Year" type thing and was deeply disappointed. Nowhere near as good as Sean of the Dead.

Yeah, saw Hot Fuzz; enjoyable, but over-long.
No, not Shaun of The Dead.

The Departed? Infernal Affairs was far better but then Hollywood never made a good Hong Kong remake, oh and they changed the ending too.......

I've not seen the Infernal affairs trilogy...........
.........and I wanna.
They were on TV a while back at an obscene hour.
Shocking.

From what I've seen...
Pan's Labyrinth - extremely good and a visual marvel.
United 93 - superbly made, but you may wonder why it was made.
Hostel - boring, godawful dreck that wastes its one good idea (the flesh fantasy turned nightmare). Charmless characters and a completely moronic vision of Europe that verges on the insulting.
