Just read today that Sir Terry Wogan is paid for presenting Children in Need. He go ? 9,065 for seven hours work in 2005.

That's on top of the ? 800,000 they pay him for his Radio 2 crappy show.

It's only licence payers money though so it doesn't matter.

Tel has come in for some flak for this as all the other presenters/artists are doing it for free.
I expect Tel to back down and waive his fee or donate it to Children in Need, a well worthy charity

I love Children in Need, Red Nose Day, Live Aid etc, etc............

I think it's great when a bunch of millionaires get together and tell me I'm not giving enough to charidy.

When people who have worked all there lives in this country are stuck with third rate health care and a pension that only just pays the milk bill!!
