died last night, aged 75. a very good journalist, not afraid to say it as it was, especially his questioning of where all the lottery money supposed to be for sport has been hidden by the government. RIP.

Reading his column was always an education. the world is a poorer place today.
I don't see any reason to keep buying the Mail now.
Woodridge seemed to be the only writer who wrote good english with columns that stretched one's brain and challenged opinion.
Too many "news" papers today are just comics style junk with bold text and big pictures or classroom graphics for the hard of understanding.
These daily drivel and dross purveyors are dangerous organs that keep the "dumbed down" intelectually flabby and allow the government to gang bugger us all totally unchecked.
It's already too late to say I told you so!
.....and just where did all that lottery money go??
RIP Mr Woodridge, your work here is done.
