Unlucky, Celtic, you done well: we don't have a genius like Kaka on our side.
There's now the minor triviality of Rangers on Sunday..........
!wink!

Didn't see the game, but my hopes weren't high. The Tic seem unable to do anything away from home in Europe.
Not sure I'd have wanted to be in Milan if their other side (after Inter) were knocked out of Europe anyway.

I concur, but Celtic did set out to do well; it was as if they forgot they were actually away from home, and regarded the fixture as a one-off cup final.
Even 1-0 down early in extra-time, Milan still went for the 2nd- as they knew Celtic needed just the one goal to progress. Celtic battled valiantly, and Milan, to their credit, didn't 'shut up shop'.
However, the same old issues arise when on Italian soil: two valid penalty claims dismissed. Milan did murder us on clear cut chances, though: get this, 30-odd atempts on goal (twice off the crossbar, in addition to two last-ditch challenges near the goalline) to our approx 6!! !glum!
It was against all these odds that I thought the night would be ours, but it was not to be. !God smiley, mods?! ok, then !bow!
And, lo, i go to my kip as, on this, the seventh day of the Turd month, je suis knackerdo.

Enjoy your kip, mate.
Yeah, dodgy decisions and Italian sides go hand in hand, and have done for almost 50 years of European competition.
Well done to the Mancs, and to Pool and the Mercaneries from last night.
