a reminder, people...

please do not feed the trolls.
it only makes more work for us, as everything ends up having to be removed - no matter how witty or spot on your anti-troll posts (and some of them are).
aside from that, the delete button on my keyboard is getting very worn and shiny from overuse and my finger keeps slipping over to the next key which has written on it (in very tiny letters) "oh, i can't be buggered anymore - let's just nuke the flamin' lot of 'em!".
this is just one example of what moderators have at their fingertips, on the specialist keyboards they're issued with as standard. other examples include - "send 10,000 volts through posters mouse", "do search of posters tax records and make known any anomalies between apparent income and fancy house/car etc to appropriate authorities", "send over giant white bgafd balloon to harrass and terrify poster", "stick heads of various bgafd regulars on to bodies of any nude images poster attempts to download".
of course, that last one would only be used in the most extreme circumstances...
seriously, trolls are lonely people who need others to play their games with. no matter how provocative their tactics - even if includes posting vile and abusive comments about people you know or respect - please resist the temptation to respond.
unlike a lot of forums bgafd is monitored regularly, so these things do get dealt with and the less there is for us to clean up, the sooner we can put the shovel away.
cheers.
