Hey!!

Being some what of an "any thing for an easy life" kinda fella,when it came to the contents of the fridge and pantry during the last two years or so. What ever (what was then) the probable future Mrs Beeston said,was LAW!!

As a result of this certain favourite foods were subsequently removed from my diet with out me really realising. How ever since Christmas I have once again entered down the road of batchelorhood and have re discovered the joy of "proper" food!!

The current leader of the pack is fish paste sandwiches!! How nice are they? If by any chance you have forgotten the simple pleasure that is a jar of Shipmans,pop out and treat your selves!!

The real reason of this is....whats your simple guilty cuisine pleasure when left to your own devices?

Spam wotsits on toast with a three-inch layer of Nutella on either side, being chased by Morrisssey wearing a nappy screaming "I'm gonna bum you with a can of spam.... bam, bam, thank yer mam, come to Daddy my wee lamb" on a 23.4 degree centigrade evening.

My simple pleasures are easy to service.

A simple pleasure sadly lacking in my diet these days

i have to admit i have a couple of these guilty food pleasures. all of them involving toast actually. salmon paste on toast, or a big thick dollop of smooth peanut butter on toast, or the ultimate tinned tomotoes and cheese on toast!
