Genuinely hopeless.
Mediocre at Boro, even with a good budget.
Has one of the best squads in the world..... can't do much with an embarrassment of riches and talent.
Sack him now.
You need Hiddink- or Mourinho when he gets punted in the summer.

PS. you really missed out with Martin O'Neill.
A cup specialist- he may have got you the World Cup on a good month.
Thank God, for us Jocks. !wink!

What are you playing at, FF? You know full well Agent McClaren has to stay in position until England can no longer qualify.

ANOTHER garbage England 'performance' listening to the always-excellent Greeny and the gang on 5Live.
The national team give us so much heartache I think in the long term we're better off sticking with our own club sides, whatever division they are in and say "to hell with England".
With all that 'talent' on the pitch and they can't beat an average international side by at least a couple of goals is a disgrace.
Yeah, McLaren will be holding a P45 soon enough and we'll probably go down the Stuart Pearce route for reinvigorating a truly lacklustre side.
But I doubt very much whether that'll be the long term solution.
Good job we've won the World Cup once as at this rate I very much doubt we'll ever win it again!!!

It should have been Scolari- but the redtop press screwed that one.
McClaren is absolutely useless- how about a virtual swap whereby Mourinho gets the England job and Eriksson gets the Chelsea job.
And dare I say it- Alan Curbishley?

In my opinion Big Sam was the perfect man for the job, completely different to Sven and would make the players give their all whilst wearing the three lions.
We all know the wonders that he's worked with Bolton and though some people couldn't see him leaving his post there, it was evident towards the end of the search for a new england manager that Sam was interested.
If you watch the way Mclaren works the media, i think he was probably the best man in the interview scenario but apart from that he's shite, surely the FA could see that he was running things (along with the players lol) when Sven was in charge and look where that got us......
