It was brought to my attention the other day, by a friend who is a similar age to me, that as we are approaching our thirties we seem to be making more little noises. Anyone getting there or already there? When do you now make these odd sounds that you didnt used to? Just to get the ball rolling, I am sure I never used to need to make an encouraging sound for myself to get off the settee but I seem to need a "hup" now.

Turned 29 last month and have been aware of the noises for about two years. Lots of lugging big barrels full of materials around in my job,a task which i now find impossible to do with out making a kinda "Euuuuurgh" noise. A very similar but deeper noise is required if I want to stand up and more than 30 seconds sat down. All this is also coupled with a new found fondness for humming along to the oldies station (I claim me Dad makes me listen to)

So my friend you are not alone,it looks like we all Grunt mummble and hum our way into our 30s and beyond....its natures way!! Dont fight it!!

Ahhhh yes a pose and situation I know so very well. I live in fear of the day some one only has the bean bag chair for me to sit in!! I suspect it will take a specially trained team to get me outta one of the fuckers!!

Oh I did notice another one tonight (Dam you Harmony,you have given me a complex) a certain satisfied luck and an "Aaaah" when ever I drink any thing!! But espcially tea.....

I too make those noises! Getting in and out of my car and even reaching for my seatbelt!!!

Argh! I must be getting old!
