experiment

This is an experiment both to see if I can post an image and to illustrate a 'poor man's' 3-d. Sorry the image, the back garden at Handiwork Towers, is not more to the forum's usual style. Some of you may know this method but for those who dont it can be quite effective. Take a picture and then move a few inches to the side and take another shot. It works best with a wide shot with a lot of depth to it. Place both pictures side by side in a photo editing programme and save as a single jpeg. View the picture from about 2 feet from the monitor and try to focus your eyes at a point a few inches in front of the screen. If you can stand having to cross your eyes a bit, with a little practice the image becomes very definately 3-D. Try it for yourself and see.
