what with all the talk about the speccy celebrating is 25th birthday (i gotto thinking) it's main rival the commodore 64 will celebrate it's 25th in august
these two machine's started the whole 'my comp/console is better than yours' farce that still rages today, with the ps3 and xbox 360
personally i did prefere the graphics on the c64 to the speccy (check out rambo to see the difference) also i believe the 'collision detection' on the c64 was better than the speccy but i do understand why so many people are found of these old gen machines. i recently played on a old c64 but i wish i didn't. i had such fond memories about how good the games were etc.
but in truth compared to todays standards they are and were crap.
