Probably not, which is why we are nipping this in the bud. We depend, to a large extent, upon self-policing by members as we cannot monitor the forums 24/7 (nor, for the sake of our sanity, would we want to). If we can't take a few hours off without fearing that we're going to return to a mess, we'd have to consider closing the whole show down.

Our concern is with the persistent use of offensive remarks, by yourself, towards other members. Not whether you find a particular topic offensive.

You're being singled out because of your 'singularly' intemperate use of language towards other members. And it is your gratuitous comments which are causing others to respond in kind. Something of which we also disapprove, as is made clear in the warning post.
On the other hand, this IS an impersonal matter because a) we don't know who you are and have no personal feelings towards you and b) we issue identical warnings to whoever merits them, consistent with the well-being of the forums. In that context, you certainly are not being singled out for special treatment.
You may consider yourself an ideological moderate but your use of language has been immoderate and THAT is our concern.
The offensive thread you linked to has now been removed. It should have been removed much earlier but, going by the dates of the posts, it looks to have slipped through due to our resources being even more limited than usual, at that time.
This matter is now closed - as is this thread.
