Well deserved by Man Utd. Always trying to score goals and entertain. Last year Jose said the league table doesn't lie, and that Chelsea were the best team in England. Today when asked if Man Utd were now the best team in England he skirted the issue. !laugh!
Very ungracious.......
Still, I bet the Man Utd players can't wait for the guard of honour on Wednesday! !wink!

Best team won. They have played entertaining football all year. Giggs has been brilliant. However the Milan thumping shows they have yet to replace Beckham/Keane and Ferdinand is still overpaid, arrogant and vastly overrated ponce.
Their fans will be celebrating all over London, Bangkok, Sydney and wherever else they live.

Er, Ferdinand didn't play against Milan.
The team playing the best attacking football won this year. Ryan Giggs now has 9 medals, what a record that is; unlikely to be beaten. He and George Best must be two of the greatest players never to appear at the World Cup Finals.

I dunno.......
Beckham created most of Utd's goals, but with the strikers Utd have now, it's more intricate through-balls, dynamic movement, and passing around the box rather than goals from diagonal long passes and crosses.
As for Keane, well United have got a better defensive/offensive record this season with Carrick/Scholes than at any time since the Premiership began. They did score 97 goals in 99/00 but conceded 45, while in 04/05 they may have only conceded 26 goals all season but only scored a measly 54. This season they've managed to score 83 goals so far, while equalling their defensive record of only conceding 26. A mighty achievement (for now).
So Ferdinand's overrated? Chelsea's style makes it easy for Terry/Carvalho to defend, because all the team defend in numbers and keep things compact (this is why they've gotten away with having Essien at the centre of defence for a few games), but with Man Utd's 'gung-ho' tactics then Ferdinand & Vidic are more exposed. They've defended brilliantly this season in my opinion.

NINE titles for Demento since he took over the Mancs in November 1986.
Not bad.
But consider Bob Paisley (!bow!) who guided the Mighty Reds to six titles while he was manager for just nine seasons from 1974-1983.
Oh, and THREE European Cups compared to Demento's one.
Oh, but I forgot that football only started when Sky took over in 1992, so perhaps they don't count!!!
Looking forward already to 2007-08 when we'll take our 19th League title!!!
Walk On...
