All the time I lived in London there were regular furores about sex on TV but I never saw any! Here in Italy there are films on every night and it is common to see realistic sex scenes. Last night there was a sex film where one saw the vagina and so on with sexual intercourse and oral sex clearly depicted. The only thing that the viewer did not see was close-ups of explicit sex. I suppose that this is what one sees on pay channels in the UK. I say "suppose" because I have never watched any.

Where does John Beyer get his support and funding from? Why is the British state so opposed to allowing the viewing public seeing what the rest of Europe has been seeing for years?

yep late night tv on the continent is 100 times better than the hardcore ppv channels over here! in spain i saw a proper hardcore porn movie with cumshot and everything, on at 3 in the morning on spanish satelittle tv, wasn't even ppv!

Perhaps you are pointing your dish out of the UK! You don't need a dish here and there is no licence fee as far as I know.
