What about the last gangster starring Barry Sullivan and Robert Alda in the man i love spose these were too early.

I thought Ian McShane played a very good role in Sexy Beast
Preferred him in this to Sir Ben

How about Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci and Bobby De Niro in Goodfellas.
The best ganster film of them all and thats high praise as there's been some fucking great gangster films over the years.
