Yes, you're right. It was Sidebottom who really looked like England's only quality bowler. Plunket and Harmison bowled rubbish in the first test too, and it was only Monty who bowled well.

Just shows how bad the windies are doesn't it. Viv Richards was commentating on the radio. He must have been disgusted inside.

I was listening to Sir Viv and to say he was not pleased by what he saw is a huge understatement. He was very annoyed!!

I don't know about that.

Just because they were great players doesn't mean they'll make great coaches and I think that's true in most sports and not just cricket. There are always exceptions to every rule but I reckon you'll find that the vast majority of the top coaches in all sports were only average players at best.

I not in favour of having all these "specialist" coaches! Remember during the recent Ashes debacle England employed no less than 12 back-room coaches "specialising" in one aspect or another - and look what good they did??
