The good news is that he will be out of the public eye very soon, so there's no need to wish him ill. In the end, they all disappear into relative obscurity, even the Thatcher creature.

I may say some nasty things with relations to people that seem to be in every newspaper every day, and might voice some bizarre accidents I'd like to befall them----the Big Brother house being attacked by giant, mutant ants, for example. But the best that can happen to such people---"celebs," politicos, over-rated sports types and musicians---is the day when the papers and magazines stop calling, and they're starved of the oxygen of publicity.

Gardeners question why slugs exist & what is their purpose in the grand scheme of things, I have the same feelings about Prescott.
Perhaps when you reply you will be kind enough to give us a list of his achievments in government, apart from spending huge amounts of tax payers money on the good things in life.

The reason I hate him.

Where I live there are some lovely houses, and many "ordinairy" suburban houses.

When Labour made their new law making gardens brown field sites the housing developers eyes lit up.

Near me developers have been buying up loads of perfectly good houses with the idea of cramming 10 houses where one stood, or putting in loads of flats.

In many cases the local council turned the developer down.

They were escalated up to Prescott's department who overruled the local council (often without even bothering to visit the area).

We have had many many beautiful houses (and ordinairy houses) knocked down near me and replaced the anonymous houses squeezed together, or retirement flats crammed in.

The stupid thing is in most cases the development was called "Sunshine gardens" or some such thing, when it was the very gardens that no longer existed.
