We were putting up the no smoking signs at work the other day ready for next month and i was wondering what the situation is with studios.
This is from the Smoke Free England website.

"The new smokefree law will apply to virtually all 'enclosed' and 'substantially enclosed' public places and workplaces. This includes both permanent structures and temporary ones such as tents and marquees. This also means that indoor smoking rooms in public places and workplaces will no longer be allowed."

I know some people like to see models smoking and as a studio is a workplace will they take the risk of a fine if they are caught allowing these type of shoots.
I know it's a difficult law to enforce like using mobile phones in cars but i just wondered what people thought.

Well the only thing I can really tell you about this,is some thing I watched on my local news on Thursday. Cant be bothered to google for the exact word so you will just have to use you imagination....

In Leicester (as im sure in all major cities) there are several Turkish cafe's where people go to expressly smoke from that bong type thing,with the hose. You with me? Thought you would be. Well basically these places are going to have to shut because of the new law. People only go to these places to smoke the bong thing,apperantly. And you look a right twerp stood in the street with it.

So given that the goverment does not give a toss about putting people out of buisness with this new law. I kinda think that they aint really going to care if some punter like's to smack his gongs around looking at some lass smoking.

In short im afraid its no smoking in the studio from now on. If you want to jerk off watching some girl smoke,im afraid its back to the days of buying a mac and hanging round in parks. You see....perversion has come full circle. Just another bonus of living in a police state.
