For years they'd always suggested it was another Edinburgh "worthy"----Deacon Brodie----who was the source of Jekyll. But this guy fits the part much better.

I find the Scottish Ferile Farmer People near the border to England to be some of the scariest dudes and dudettes for the old "Neighbourhood Watch - Keep It In the Family" campaign and a couple of times I have been glad to have escaped with my Rectum and Trouser Snake intact as they will shag anything with a pulse in these parts ... even the table legs aint safe.
Certainly shines a new light on the term "Fatherly Love".
