The reason I post is because the Sexy Sally James Still looks amazing,
and I really hope they still do my fave bit of the show,
when Navy lads sent in cap tallies and she would wear them on her fishnet legs.
I always think Tiswas was for punk kids at comprehensives
and Swapshop was for grammar school kids
whos mothers liked to keep an eye on what they watched.

Good show in it's day. Did you ever watch the late night O.T.T. though?

Tiswas was pretty anarchic, but so would Play School seem opposite Noel Edmunds.

OTT was a good laugh. The Tiswas team, minus Sally James and with Helen Atkinson (Mrs Miggins) Wood in her place---and an early TV appearance for Alexei Sayle.

I loved O.T.T, my mate had the book !
Its was kinda like Tiswas
but with a few rude jokes and the odd pair of tits (tarrant & O'Gorman)
But no Sally James and no fishnets, guess thats why it didnt last long.

Alexei Sayle was on O.T.T, I dont remember that,
but Id love to see him on it.

It wasn't really his scene, but it did give him some TV exposure---just before The Young Ones took off.

I remember the buxom black gal who did a strip at the end and just as she whipped her bra off, the credits would roll over her tits or the camera would draw away so you couldn't see them.
Alexei was touted as the next big thing, but I just didn't get him....and still don't.

She was kept on the show because she had an Equity card. Originally, she, another girl and two blokes were doing a strip game. Tarrant thought everything was going swimmingly until the other girl whipped her top off, and wasn't wearing a bra. Straight to commercial break. Given the look of the girl, I suspect there'd have been an even bigger fuss had she removed her jeans/skirt.

From then on, it was a tease as to whether the black girl would strip off. The other lass didn't come back on because she wasn't in the performers' union.

He was a big mouth i know that.
