Yes Randy, i stayed up and watched it, what a great body shot. I was a bit concerned Ricky went off to fast, if he could last 12 rounds like that. A great performance indeed. And Costillo has never been Stopped, even better considering.

Many thanks for the link.
Clearly, the cumulative effect of those body shots were sickening Castillo and, with that last one, he had had enough of it.
By the way, Castillo has been stopped several times, just not counted out on the canvas before.

Was about to post the same thing, indeed he had been stopped before, early on in his career against Cesar Soto, Javier Jauregui and of course against Corrales.
Also got stopped on a cut against Juliao Alvarez.
Great perforamce by Hatten though, I fancied him to win by ko and this goes to show what a great fighter the guy is. They are saying Mosely is likely next, but how good would a fight between him and Mayweather be?.

would love to see him fight Mayweather just to shut his big mouth up. I would be worried if they fought at welter, don't think Hatton can cope at that level as his power is negated.
If they fought at light welter I think Hatton could have a chance

Only way Pretty Boy Mayweather would win was on points by jabbing and running for 12 rounds. A fit Hatton like we saw this morning would chase him down & win in my opinion. If he's sluggish though, Floyd will win.
