A person's religion is no one's business but his/hers. If they choose to broadcast it, or attempt to convert others, or use it to justify a war, then that's a different matter.
Religion isn't necessarily bad. Faith can be a good thing. But people who hold to a narrow, strict interpretation of text can be very scary. And as for those who belong to a religion/sect/cult/club just for the advantages it can bring them----utter scum.
For what it's worth, I'm a card-carrying atheist son of a Protestant father and Catholic mother.

Yet I've never heard of a war, pogrom, or inquisition begun in the name of atheism, rationalism, or humanism. We are considered inferior beings by the Establishment if we don't adhere to 'faith' as an epistemology; something I have never been able to figure out.....

I wish they would ban all religions,For me its a bunch of hocus pocus shite,That cause's nothing but trouble.

Lol, I've been debating/winding up a nutter over on youtube.
They get a little uncomfortable with the truth, which says a lot why they ignore it in favour of fairy stories.
