Can't quite see how the Pope's bitch, and the USA's poodle, is going to bring accord to the Judeo/Arab world.
How about Nelson Mandela? Seems to me he knows quite a bit about all of the issues. I suppose his age and colour might be an issue in the region, but all of his other qualities make him perfectly suited.
