New Labour, New Danger

The 'Dangerous Pictures Act' got buried today as Brown took over from Bliar

The Government believes that these clauses constitute an interference with Convention rights under Articles 8 and 10 but that for the reasons set out below this is justified as being in accordance with the law, and necessary in a democratic society for the prevention of crime, for the protection of morals and for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

Morality is more important than Human Rights?

The scope of this bill is so wide that almost anyone could be nailed as a sex offender.

MORALITY!?!? How dare politicans dictate to us about morality!!! These politicans are all stinking hypocrites!!! In public pontificating to us about morality, then in private dressing up as a ballerina, having cocaine blown up their arses whilst being whipped and LOVIN' it!!!

Scottish schools go on holiday earlier, but return earlier too.

Then, of course, you have the various other holidays, public holidays, that long stretch over Christmas and New Year . . .

God, Warren, I really hate you.

Attercliffe & Hillsborough were hit bad. My dad works in Hillborough. He left work at 4pm and got home about 11:30pm. It usually takes him 40 mins.

Where I am (Darnall) it's been ok, but we're a little higher up.

Where about in Derbyshire you residing Liz?
