I thought i would start yet another thread on global warming as last year we had droughts and hosepipe bans and were told to expect our summers to get hotter and dryer but so far this summer we had had several people killed by floods and our best weather was back in April allthough i did get sunburnt at the Derby earlier this month but its pissed down ever since, but the experts will no doubt tell us that this is all part of the global warming cycle if its hot and dry its global warming if its cold its global warming and if its wet its global warming seems they have covered all their options, fuck the experts i will just stick to feelling me seaweed first thing in the morning its much more accurate !cool!

global warming is a general term for the rising of the earths temperature, it does not mean we are going to get hotter summers par se. What it does mean is that we will experience climate change.
The recent rainfall is more in line with hotter countries ie the monsoon
Will things continue in this vein, difficult to say, other climate change models suggest we could get colder if the gulf stream shuts down

Certain things in life are predictable like a bullet in the head will probably kill you, being hung by the neck is not good for your health and being under the guillotine will allmost certainly bring about your demise, predicting what the weather will do isnt quite so easy and being an allotment holder i should know, i grow my own organic veggies but my earlies are a washout my cherries wont ripen and now im suffering with carrot fly it seems you just cannot beat nature !love!!thumbsup!!cool!

And I expect "they" will try and blame Global Warming on the Ice age. Both for creating the cold environment..... and then the melting.
A natural event.

With Brown wanting the UK leading the rest of the world. You can really see how places like China and India or even USA will sit up and take notice!!!!!! yet taxing the uk citizens will still happen.

I recently payed my ?10 Brown tax at Gatwick, now where has that gone?

All this carbon offsetting being done..... how.
Is there hundreds of new companies planting trees somewhere being paid for by the government.
Planting certainly isn't happening down in the south east, the opposite in fact. The government is pushing for green belt being concreted over, large perfectly good houses and gardens knocked down and estates of flats/affordable houses built in there place.
Oh and planning permision on flood planes no problem..... then the flooding of houses happen and then headlines of "global warming".

The recent rain has at least stopped the land going brown even if the bloody country has.

When wll this nightmare end.... next year I hope and pray.

The arguments for global warming dont add up as extreme weather conditions have always happened and if global warming is happening it is a natural phenomenon, now dont get me wrong i have participated in all of the London Naked Bike Rides {I know not a pretty sight} which is a protest against oil dependency and other green issues but as far as i am concerned this has nothing to do with global warming but just the fact that i do like to breathe fresh air and there is no doubt that our present goverment have grasped the global warming thing to grab more taxes from us and i am not surprised that warren zevon ripoff supports this goverment as being a scoolteacher he has done very well from them, Education,Education, Education !cool!
