I think he means all the country's woes (including the floods) should be blamed on the politicians.

And if he'd gone straight there from Buck palace, there'd be some who would accuse him of being another "find me a disaster to visit" Thatcher.
Great swathes of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Worcestershire (among other places) were hit. If he arrives in Sheffield, do the people in Doncaster, Cheltenham or Louth then feel snubbed?

Erm......I'm in Sheffield which has been hit. Yeah we've had floods, yeah there's damage and a few people got killed..........but fuck me, it's only a flood man! You can't compare this with Hurricane Katrina! !lol!
I think Sheffield can manage to 'get by' without a visit from our new PM................not to mention it's only his second day in the bloody job.
