The Tour De France cycle race starts in London this weekend and passes through Kent where i live and a lot of the major roads will be closed so its going to be a nightmare getting around and it wont be half as good as the London Naked Bike Ride but apparently its one of the biggest sporting events in the World so i suppose i should show some interest !cool!

If you want to put some of the competitors off their stroke, you can stand by the side of the road rattling bottles of pills.

This once great event has just become a joke. A haven for cheats and dopers.

Excuse my ignorance, but why does the Tour De France start in London? !confused!

It's not the Tour proper its the 'Prologue', a simple time trial so it doesn't really matter where it starts and has in fact started here before.

Plymouth I think.

This is the first time it has started in London and it finishes in Canterbury on this side of the channel but it dosnt take a direct route as it swings its way around Kent which is why there are so many roads closed, and yes it does apparently have a drugs culture that goes with it !cool!

Along with golf and sailing, surely one of the most boring sports events to watch.

I dont know about boring but with 109 miles of major roads closed here in Kent just for the bike race its a fucking nuisance !cool!
