I nearly wet myself the first time I watched 'That Sinking Feeling' back in the days. I dont think it has quite stood the test of time, but still a very funny film.

It is a good film, shame it seems to have been forgotten.

I'm surprised you are applauding the location Wazza........... it was one of your ex-prison colonies, Cumbernauld!

The school scenes were shot at Our Lady's High, I've played quite a bit of footie on the red ash pitch that was used for a few scenes too- a major 'lame to fame', that one.

I went to a private school in the big city......

...where, despite the fees, penguins were, disappointingly, not part of the deal.

I love this film, brings back loads of great memories for me, my uncle and auntie lived in Cumbernauld and loved staying up there in the summer holidays.

I'm sure the drummer or singer from Big Country lived in Cumbernauld or near there at the time as we used to all meet at the park after talking on our CB radios!!

Sorry slightly moving away from topic - the film, yes brilliant easy watching early teen sort of stuff, although I showed it to my teenager and she thought it was "pants"!!

Anyone who doesn't like Gregory's Girl, I don't want to know.

Near perfect, of its kind. Romantic, funny and local.

My favourite scene is when Gregory covers his nipples with his fingers when Dorothy walks into the changing rooms.
