I referring to the tinned, well, I suppose it's a sort of meat product!

Ahh yes, for the very first time in my life I ate a tin of spam. I opened it and had to use a knife and fork to prize it out of it's metal box. Then it had to be cut into slices - somewhat difficult as it's more than a little greasy.

I buttered some bread and lay on the slices, added some horseradish sauce and consumed! My verdict; well nothing special really, I'd say borderline disgusting - but then all these tinned meat products taste like that. I couldn't eat it without the horseradish sauce - I tried, but it tasted of stinking pigs blubber!! I won't be spending another 99p on spam again.

Fry it and cover it in lashings of brown sauce.........fucking food of the Gods!!!

OK, I might try that - it sounds better than eating it 'raw'. I'll have to give it a week or two as my stomach is going up and down after my first experience !sick!

Or even try it in a toasted sandwich!!!

Brush on a little oil then stick it between some bread and pop it in the "Brevil"

Well you strike me as the "open minded" sort....give it a go!! And let me know how you get on!!

I also have an idea for "toasted spam fritter sandwiches" but they are still in the planning stages. But will post as soon as I have the nerve (and suitably dirty kitchen) to try them!!

I don't think I could ever eat spam by itself - I'd need something else with it such as pickle, mustard, sauce and/or horseradish. I never thought it could be cooked or grilled, until now that is !happy!
