Maybe because in Eastern Europe they fish to eat rather than fish as a pass-time.

Why should they, what is the point in throwing a fish back? why catch the fucka in the first place, it's not eastern europeans that have the problem...

In this country fishing is classed as a sport, the anglers license fee pays for the 'stocking of fish', not for someone to come along with a rod and catch their supper, that's what supermarkets are for.
