I remember at great piece of Graffitti in Shepards Bush that read:
'STAN BOWLES* HAS LAID ON MORE BALLS THAN FIONA RICHMOND'

I saw it in 1977 Steve, great graffitti if I say so myself.
I also recall seeing 'GEORGE DAVIS IS INNOCENT' everywhere in West London back then.....bet you remember that!
I recall QPR's plastic pitch at Loftus Road had it dubbed in paint as well
