Any suggestions as to some energetic fun music

Light weight lyrics...energetic

Twisting By The Pool is fabulous.

Blur: Song No 1 (if you don't react to this, you're already dead)

Prefab Sprout: King Of Rock And Roll; Cars And Girls

Elvis Costello: Oliver's Army

The Beatles: Helter Skelter

Thing I remember the blur song from an alternative compilation...starting lyrics sounding like 'yahoo' or something similar?

Can't say i've even heard of prefab sprout...living under a rock has its draw backs

Elvis is a gem...pump it up another class song

the Beatles go without saying

The Sprouts are from Magoo's neck of the woods. And their main man, as he puts it himself, "tried to be the Fred Astaire of words."

Yeah, that's the Blur one.

10cc: Life Is A Minestrone

The Clash: Rock Da Casbah (someone hates it when I mispell this)

Elton John (yes, really): Kiss The Bride

The Police: Every Little Thing She Does

Not The Nine O'Clock News: I Like Trucking

Monty Python: The Bruces' Philosophy Song (are you a graduate of the
University of Wallaballoo, Buttsie? Or were you just in
charge of the sheep dip?)

can't believe the Police are touring again

Nothing wrong with a little bit of elton

is you pulling my lariart...not the nine o'clock news
I recall the heebeegeebess 439 golden greats in the 80s but not them

"I like trucking, I like trucking, I like trucking and I like to truck . . . "

It's bound to exist somewhere on youtube or similar.

Just wait until I get on to Spitting Image's back catalogue.

Bruce Springsteen: Born To Run

Thin Lizzy: The Boys Are Back In Town

Housemartins: Happy Hour

I could handle that but draw the line at abba or the village people...lol

bachmnan turner overdrives jamaica is a classic
much better than those dinosaur epicsthat always get played

Strange how songs sound after not hearing them for years

I've kept the suggestions clear of camp, don't worry.

The Smudgers: Panic (Gotta love a chorus of "Hang the DJ")

Heaven 17: Temptation

Human League: Fascination

New Order: Regret

Madness: Almost anything

The Jam: Eton Rifles
