It's just an observation really that there has been a decline, or appears to be, in the number of posts made by regular models using the forum, or is it just my imagination?
I appreciate that you are all very busy ladies but is it simply that you have been busy or is it that you are sick of dick heads who use the forum giving you loads of grief and abuse, which has been the case in the past on certain occassions. Obviously Phil, Alec and Woodgnome do a great job in weeding out the prats but sometimes they do slip through the net.
If you do feel uncomfortable about posting and the abuse you may get, it would be good to know, please tell us how you are feeling ladies.
I for one think that your posts add a special something to the forum and enjoy reading them, you are after all experts in the field that we all love- the British porn scene!

I have no doubt that when they have something constructive to say they will do so.
Most of the posts recently, by my research (I've been off air and busy) have related to subjects which require no comment.

Yes, in my experience, I expect that quite a lot of models have indeed been put off from posting,
for exactly those reasons that you suggest...
I personally got fed up with that kinda attitude some time ago, and that was when I made a conscious decision
too only respond to posts, which were specifically addressed as being to, or for me, in person.
Admittedly, I still post the odd "Announcement" etc, but even now, I very rarely join in on a debate as such...
However these days, speaking as one of the more "established names" amongst the models, I'm not too bothered about it anymore...
Infact, nasty comments simply run over me, like water off of a ducks back...
But if I were to be new again, then yes, I would feel hesitant, when it came to my posting on here...
I do feel that its quite possible, that many models who could well have become forum regulars,
have been put off in the past, by some off the responses, that they have seen the models who do post here receiving...
Girls aside for a moment though... I know for a fact that there's a large number of blokes who are afraid to post !
In the past, after some of my more "dramatic" clashes, upon the forum, I have received a lot of emails of support, saying...
"Read your response to so and so, on the BGAFD... Well done, I would have said the exact same thing myself"
Yet, when I reply and ask them. that if thats so, then why didnt they say it ?
They say no chance... I'd be eaten alive !
I myself would like to hear from more models... Are they put off ? I really don't know... I cant really speak for any other models...
But when you do the maths... Look at how many girls are in the database... And how many of them post ???
I take that to mean that we have to have quite a lot of "Lurking" models out there !!!
So c'mon girls, how about all of you "Lurking" models... Stop lurking for a bit ???
Why not start posting a bit more ? Come on and say "Hi" to everyone...
After all, at the end of the day, these are the guys who are buying the porn, and so as such...
These guys are the ones who are paying you your wages !

there are still one or two forum bullies who are just wannabe moderators. i think you and the other models should try and join in again, alec has already said he's going to be much tougher on trolls and troublemakers.

I'm quite new to the indusrty and only realy look on bgafd to see whats going on and to laugh at the wierd/sic/stupid posts (And to check out the girls!).
Sure, I accept that in this line of work(I did my first full g/b video this week....excelent) you cant be shy or upset easily but some of the post are just offensive.
On the whole though its a good forum and it will be great to see what people think of my videos once they start come out.
It would be nice to see more models post if only to say hi too each other and make contact with more people in the indusrty.
Its a wonderful way to make a living so lets try to make it even better and less offputting for the new girls.

In life some people and chatty others less so. The chatty ones may well post but the others may not.
Remember that a lot of models use the web to post on model b/bs to get work and posting and answering e-mails is time consuming and the last thing they want to do after spending that time on the web 'on business' is to carry on out of interest or fun.
Maybe the chatty ones do, like Chanta for example, but I would not mind guessing that some of the others that do still have their 'business' hat on and are posting as a form of concious promotion.
If so and they dont think its working, the will stop posting.

The trolls are bad news and it does make you more careful of what you are posting ,i have been away working but even in mexico i have to stop by and check the forum ,IS THERE SUCH A THING AS A FORUM JUNKIE? if so when im bored i think im one

Well thanks for taking the time to respond Layla, Autumn and Cathy, hopefully after reading your posts on this subject some of the idiots who are insulting may think again, you will still get those who don't care- but this is a small majority, and as they say about people at football matches who cause trouble not being football fans, these prats aren't porn fans either.
