Oh behave....you can see he's not really kicking them or hitting them hard. Its just a bit of rough play with Daddy and the little boys seem to be enjoying it.

Do you have kids Andy?

Just a father and son 'bonding'
I have no problems with this at all. Miss Woods has a valid point!

So not really kicking them or at least not hitting them very hard, is ok. There is rough play which any parent has with their kids as I did with my two, years back, but there were clearly issues in this man's beheviour that he should look into, and moves that could have resulted in serious neck and spinal injuries if they had gone wrong.

Better this than binding them with the chains of overprotectiveness. He
seemed to be VERY careful about the placement of the 'blows' and of
course the 'villain' got his just desserts at the end.
Nice to see a dad+kids for a change.
Does remind me a bit of 'competitive dad' from the Fast Show, though.

Ever heard the phrase "special effects" Andy??
I would say that all of this sequence has obviously been filmed at a much slower speed and then speeded up to look as if it was actually quite dangerous, I think every fight sequence is filmed the same way ... for movies anyway - this is no different.

Yes I have heard of special effects, I'm a cameraman. I am not saying that it was for the most part more than clever camera positioning and the other tricks used in film fight creation between consenting adults. Nor do I say that the children were hurt by being actually struck. However I dont think it amusing to even pretend to kick young children nor some of the other things he does, however much the children involved seem to be enjoying playing with dad. The flipping of the child over the man's shoulder and on to the ground holding only the back of his head, for instance could easily have resulted in spinal injury to the child. Nor do I find amusing the placing of the sole of the man's shoe in the kids face. This video isn't just some harmless dad/child horseplay. Despite the kids geting revenge at the end, it displays some very suspect attitudes towards children that are beyond a joke.

... Yes but he is American Andy you have to make certain allowancies.
Such is the nature of the web that to be noticed or cool you have to post sensationalist nonsense like this, but basically being a normal geezer won't get you anything on this great information highway, that is one of the major problems with the internet "that you just can't be normal" and act like you would if you were with a couple of mates ... unfortunately I believe some of the people who cohabitate the internet actually start believing this theory ... until they try and put this it into practice in the "real" world.

Aw man that film was speeded up for impact. Those kids were lovin it! Too many people on a hair trigger when it comes to kids. Whatever happened to having some good fashioned rough and tumble fun with dad? Better they be doing that than plonked in front of a tv for several hours on the x box...And it builds character and teaches em not to fear their peers...so they dont get taxed of their lunch money and cupcakes.

Those kids aint likely to grow up being lightweights thats for sure.
