So are the DWP being far more progressive and open minded on the issue than BGAFD have ever been? In such than anyone giving escorting a mention on here appears to be risking a banning.

Bgafd is simply being pragmatic rather than prescriptive.
It has happened in the past that a girl's photo has been used to advertise
an escort-service without her consent and when she has taken no such
employment. Discussion of such 'services' also brings out from the
woodwork a variety of unsavoury trolls and is a breeding-ground for
accuastions, counter-accusations and general bitchiness.

The game ain't worth the candle.

I see, a tad more complicated than at first appears, what you say appears to make sense. I had not seen the threads regarding malicious use of someones photograph.

And why shouldnt jobs for escorts be advertised through the job centre?

At the end of the day if you are going to start escorting them you are going to do it regardless of how you get the job.
Any woman knows that theres always various adverts in the back of your local newspaper looking for girls for agencies. Jesus, i went for an interview for one of them when id just turned 18, nearly 3 years before i got into adult modelling/porn.

I dont see what difference it makes where its being advertised, its a legitimate way of earning a living (of course so long as you're paying tax blah blah blah).

As an afterthought.....90/100 pounds an hour is a bit lower than the average rate i would of thought!

That's exactly the problem: escorting can and does grade into prostitution
and I guess a lawyer could argue that Job-Centres might be making
themselves open to charges of soliciting, or at least encouraging 'vice'.

Yep...agreeing with you there Tequila, its kinda low on the pay scale!!! But i think you should be allowed to advertise escorting at the job centre. It's legal.
