As a Carlisle born and bred I was absolutely stunned. Very little coming from either side but official line is it is a football matter only. My translation of that is pure bollocks............
Met MacD a couple of times at our Golf Club. Seemed a decent bloke if a bit cocky.
A lot of fans are really hacked off as I understand we played really well at Walsall on Saturday.
Next manager to go will be Fergie, please Lord let this be true!!

management-its about the only profession in the world where you can be sacked instantaneously without redress
The owner have most likely said enough so the reasons for his departure are neither here nor there. As we all know when the owner says jump you say how high your eminence.Even those doing well aren't beyond this interference ie george burley with hearts a few seasons a go
Why not sack him before the season has started?
Does smell like somethings been brewing for a while to me
