Wen will the police stop harrassssing the ordinary motorist and start arresting real crims, like Chavs?
PS---I am sitting on my brain.

It's not a real crime, Magoo. It's a way for the police and local authorities to steal our freedom and find another way of getting money out of the honest driver.
And if some kiddie or pensioner or anyone happens to be crossing the road, that's just hard lines. Speeding drivers are saints, and it's about time society accepted that.
Hypocrisy is way too weak a description.

The most intriguing thing about this is that there is actually a village
in Oxon. called Kingston Bagpuss.
Amazing.
I suppose it's right next door to Moomin Magna and Upper Roobarb.....

I had a mate who got caught doing a 143mph on the M5 and he got 4 months in prison for it so using that as a yardstick then this bloke should get quite a bit longer than that.

We can always hope.
There'll be the "it's a powerful car, it needs to be driven that fast" brigade putting in their tuppenceworth soon, no doubt.
By the same rationale, if I own an axe, should I be allowed to decapitate things with it since that is what it is meant for?
Strangely quite from the right today. The BNP must be holding its annual rally.
