If you spread the ratios out, so they are on an even scope, I'd say girls, producers and customers will have an equal rate.

The only difference is, theres only girls that can be publically seen to drop out.

Its a bit unfair to single out the girls. It's not like they are turning up to a job. It's a night out for the girls as much as it's a night out for everyone else, so if they don't want to turn up why should they? It's the organisers who are using the fact they are going to attend to advertise the event as part of the publicity. I doubt they wrote to those 60 girls and asked if it was ok to use their names in the advertising. I have to agree that the venue is a big put off (it put me off)especially when tickets are going to be available on the door.

As for "how many no shows" - this is supposed to be a party! Not a shoot or a job or something that girls are going to be rewarded for going to. People buying tickets to go to this party are buying a ticket for exactly that - to go to a party. Not to meet porn stars.

Nah, they're buying tickets to see pornstars - believe me. Without the porn stars, no one would bother.

Don't feel guilty about not turning up Harmony. I saw these sorts of parties most weeks in LA, at some venue or another. There's always someone at the end of the night that's made a little profit, and that's all the organisors are really interested in, (in my opinion).

I think that if enough pornstars want their fans to have the opportunity to meet them, they should organise something collectively, rather than letting some gimp leech off of the girls' appeal and popularity to earn a few bob.

Of course they'll deny this and reel off certain charities to which the proceeds are bound, and this maybe true, but somebody, somewhere earns a little profit. This is the porn industry after all....
